Go to the Mac App Store and download OS X Mountain Lion. To quickly create an OS X Mountain Lion bootable CD, you will need a USB stick, SD card, or DVD that is at least 8GB in size, and of course the Lion Diskmaker utility itself, which you can download here. You'll basically need to click four buttons: '10.8 Mountain Lion,' 'Use this copy,' 'Create a boot disk,' and, if you're using a USB. Just download the Lion Diskmaker app, unzip it, and run it. At some time I find this terminal script, but I can't find to make Mountain Lion USB. I try to use 'InstallDiskCreator', 'DiskMaker' and Disk Utility, without success. Im using Mojave but I need to create a Bootable USB with Mountain Lion. Step 3: Open a new Finder window, and navigate to the Applications folder. I suggest naming it something recognizable, like “Mountain Lion Boot Drive”, “Mountain Lion USB Key”, etc. Step 2: Open the Disk Utility and erase the 8GB USB drive. Thanks in advance if any of you can find a few spare time to help me in my quest.Step 1: Download OS X Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store. I'm quite lost and try for now to understand what are the framebuffers and stuff like vervet. In the original post, you are refering to "using ATI5000Controller from Lion GM as the reference" and "I have attached an edited ist from LionGM ATI5000Controller.kext", are those files usable on a 10.8.2 osx version ?

I found this post who speaks about some display port issues but i have no clue at the moment if what you are proposing is supposed to work on a mac pro ? I searched around in the forum if someone had the same problem and it's not clear to me as i wonder if most of the post concerns some osx86 machines or original mac.

Unfortunately, the third monitor that is plugged in the display port is somehow not detected as it doesn't appear in the list, but it show the content of the HP 2510 monitor like 'mirrored'.

I choosed to upgrade from my 4870 because i knew the 5870 could provide me an additionnal screen that i couldn't have with the 4870. This is where the strange behavior appears.
